What You’ll Be Doing with Us

  • Manage, grow, and motivate team of sales directors who are selling advertising and sponsorship solutions to pharmaceutical and medical device clients and their agencies

  • Independently manage several key accounts and develop high-level, consultative relationships with clients/agencies

  • Define commercial solutions and the pricing and positioning to the pharmaceutical and medical device markets.

  • Serve as an industry expert in digital marketing to healthcare professionals and in medical education and training

  • Direct the development of commercial solutions for relevant client/brand situations

  • Work collaboratively with other department heads to establish the overall commercial strategy and direction of the company

  • Define and direct sales targets and account strategies

  • Identify, analyze and penetrate new markets and new market opportunities

  • Exceed sales goals; effectively manage to a team and individual quarterly sales goals


Who We Want To Interview

  • Achieved year-over-year sales growth with team(s) across multiple years in previous business development role(s)  

  • Strong healthcare industry relationships with marketing decision-makers at pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and their agencies

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a team sales professionals in previous roles

  • 10+ years sales experience selling to pharma and/or medical device and building successful relationships with brand managers in pharmaceutical and medical device companies

  • Proven history of independently generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and achieving/exceeding aggressive sales goals

  • Experience defining and optimizing commercial product offerings and pricing across portfolio of products

  • Experience working with executive team and other department heads to drive company direction and culture

  • Proven track-record in developing new territories and markets

  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to pitch new business to clients and advertising agencies; comfortable with live demonstration of new technologies

  • Working knowledge of medical content

  • Experience with brand and media planning, digital sales and all aspects of the procurement process

  • Deep understanding of physician engagement metrics and how to structure and pitch sponsorship deals

  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar solutions

  • Bachelors’ Degree required; MBA preferred.

  • Ability to travel
